Welcome To North Cave

We would like to welcome you to the North Cave Parish Council website.  Our aim is to provide you with all the information you need about our parish and to serve as a resource for the entire community.

A parish council is the first tier of local government; they are elected bodies with discretionary powers and rights laid down by Parliament to represent their communities and provide services for them.  They act as a focus for local opinion and provide a way to get things done in a way that is best suited to their local community.

All Parish Council meetings are open to the public and we welcome the attendance of residents.

North Cave is a village and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire situated 15 miles to the west of Hull city centre. The civil parish is formed by the villages of North Cave and the hamlet of Everthorpe.

The village of North Cave is a place of historical interest, dating back to prehistoric times. Please see our History page for further information.
